Rohingya asylum seekers trapped in limbo in Indonesia

Indonesia is pressing Burma's government to grant legal status to the country's Muslim Rohingya.

Indonesia's Foreign Minister, Marty Natalegawa, says Burma has to press on with democratic reforms and recognize the legal rights of hundreds of thousands of stateless Muslim Rohingya.

An increasing number of Rohingya are coming to Indonesia in the hope of getting asylum in neighbouring Australia.

One group has ended up living temporary in the offices of the Jakarta Legal aid institute in the centre of the capital.
