Malaysia Hyro Dam

The Malaysian Government is constructing a series of huge hydroelectric power project on the island of Borneo.

They argue that it's to meet the countries growing demand for electricity.
The Dam's construction involves flooding vast areas of pristine rainforest and displacing some 10,000 indigneous people.

The dams are highly controversial.
