Rebecca Henschke
Rebecca Henschke has been the Editor of Asia Calling since late 2005. Before moving to Indonesia she presented and produced the current affairs program World View on SBS national radio. She is an awarding winning radio feature maker. In Jakarta she has also worked for the BBC, Public Radio International, National public Radio in American and Deutsche Welle. Rebecca received the Indonesian Alliance of Independent Journalist radio award in 2007 for an investigative series on the impact of the Palm Oil industry in Kalimantan and again in 2008 for her reporting on religious tolerance issues. She is passionate about environmental issues and social justice.
Citra Dyah Prastuti
Citra Dyah Prastuti has been a radio journalist for more than 10 years. She joined Asia Calling in late 2011 right after her 1-month internship with ABC Radio National in Sydney. Previously she was in charge for SAGA – a flagship 15-minute radio feature daily show on KBR68H. Citra received her Master’s Degree in 2006 from SOAS University of London with Chevening Scholarship Award from the British government. In 2010 she published “Cheers, UK!” her first travel story about her daily life while in UK under a prominent publisher Gagas Media.
Vitri Angreni
Vitri Angreni joined Asia Calling on 2007. She’s now acting as the Program Assistant for Asia Calling, particularly for radio. She’s in charge for translating the stories from English to Bahasa and making sure that the Indonesian radio program runs well each week. She’s passionate about Asian dynamic development, women’s rights issues and radio.
Budhi Santoso
Budhi Santoso is the video editor for Asia Calling on TV since 2011. He's responsible for the video content for Asia Calling in Bahasa and English. He likes photography a lot and his only son has become the main character of his photos.
Aika Augustine
Aika Augustine is the Program Assistant for Asia Calling, particularly for TV. She's in charge for translating stories and making sure that the Indonesian version of the Asia Calling TV runs well every wek. She's a vegetarian who tries to live a healthy lifestyle to the max and can speak Mandarin very well. She worked in Shanghai as the PR of a popular entertainment center but then moved back to Indonesia to pursue her true passion as a journalist.
