It's been two years since the Merapi volcano, in Central java erupted killing more than 150 people.
Among the dead was the 83 year old gate keeper of the volcano, Pak Marijan.
He was appointed by the Sultan to communicate with the spirits of volcano.
That important job is now in the hands of his son Pak Asih.
Rebecca Henschke went to met him on the second anniversary of his father's death.
